The procedure involves several steps:

  3. Registration at the Companies Registry of the competent Chamber of Commerce.
  4. Opening of VAT number at the Inland Revenue Office.

  6. Activation of PEC and digital signature, mandatory tools for company management.
How long does it take to open a company?

What are the requirements for setting up a limited liability company?
To set up a limited liability company (S.r.l.), you need:
  1. A minimum share capital of 1 euro for a simplified S.r.l. or 2,500 euro for an ordinary S.r.l..
  2. At least one founding member and one director.

What are the differences between an ordinary limited liability company and a simplified limited liability company?
The main difference is the memorandum of association, which in the simplified limited liability company has a standard form and cannot be amended.
